FCSB ended the year with a derby win against Rapid, score 2-1. After the successes of Darius Olaru (24') and Florin Tănase (74'), the one who spoke about the game provided, the Romanian champions obtained three important points, while the Giulești reduced the difference through Alexandru Dobre (86').
The scorer of the second goal of the red-blues, Florin Tănase, drew conclusions at the end of the game and sent a firm message regarding the status of the FCSB champions.

The midfielder also spoke about the end of an extremely demanding year for the champion:
“It was a tiring time. I want a little vacation, even if it will be short. We need it, because then we have to be aware of what we have to do, play good, attacking football and win as many games as possible.”

However, the FCSB player warned of the danger of relaxation:
“In the first half we showed that, in the second half less. We have a points difference that we have to recover. If we relax, we can lose 7-10 points in the next games, so we have to approach every game with only the thought of victory. All the teams at the top have chances and I don't think the first placed are safe from the play-offs.”
In the end, Florin Tănase dedicated the victory to the fans present at the National Arena:
“The fans deserved these three points, it was a gift to them. They created a wonderful atmosphere and choreography and we thank them for being with us even in the difficult moments, even if they sometimes criticized us. We wish them happy holidays.
Without them, we certainly wouldn't have had the results in Europe, we wouldn't have been champions and I hope that next year will be the same”, said Florin Tănase, the scorer of the red-blues' second goal.
