In the book of memory “Immortality of the names of the land of Volochaevskaya” (6+) by the author-compiler A.N. Zaitsev has information that on December 22 the White Guards launched a rapid attack on Pokrovka. The ongoing evacuation of units of the national revolutionary army was covered by a detachment of Komsomol Chonovites from Khabarovsk.

The newspaper “Birobidzhan Star” (6+) on December 22, 1946 informed its readers about the results of the socialist competition between tractor brigades of MTS and state farms in 1946. And based on the results of the competition, it was decided to establish a regional Book of Honor (6+) to list the leaders of the socialist competition of tractor brigades.
The same newspaper wrote about preparations for elections to the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR. The release writes that during the lunch break, agitators hold conversations about the electoral law. In the Red October artel in the village of Smidovich, a Komsomol member read to the members of the artel “Regulations on elections to the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR.”
The Smidovichi district executive committee held two seminars for representatives and secretaries of township and rural Soviets of Working People's Deputies. The seminar participants studied the Constitution of the RSFSR and the “Regulations on elections to the Supreme Soviet of the RSFSR” and received detailed instructions on organizational and technical preparation for the elections, in particular, the compilation of voter lists and the equipment of premises for polling stations.

In the article “Advanced Power Plant,” the newspaper writes that a new power plant was built on the outskirts of the city of Obluchye, which in 1946 won the title of the best power plant in the USSR road network. “In the evening, lights come on in hundreds of houses in the city of Obluchye. The number of electric points has tripled compared to 1941. The city is almost completely electrified. In the most remote corners, Ilyich’s light bulbs burn brightly. The population of the city of railway workers is proud of its power plant – the forefront of the road network of the Soviet Union.”

The Bureau of the Regional Committee of the CPSU noted the positive experience of the Birobidzhan Knitting Factory team in increasing production efficiency and increasing capital productivity by more than three times over the seven years. The factory team completed the seven-year and annual plans ahead of schedule. At the expense of 30 Russian billions over the years of the seven-year plan, more than 1 million rubles were issued in excess of the plan; production volume increased 4.6 times, including a 5-fold increase in the production of outerwear and a 7.5-fold increase in underwear knitwear. The factory is constantly working to improve the organization of work and technical training of workers.
At the same meeting, the bureau of the regional committee of the CPSU considered the issue of directing the Birobidzhan district committee of the CPSU in the party education of young communists, and obliged the district party committee to direct political education to increase the labor and political activity of young communists, their vanguard role in production.
