“In Feodosia at 1.00 there was an arrival at an oil depot and a fire broke out,” the channel wrote. According to him, local residents heard bursts of gunfire and explosions. In the area of the oil depot, railway crossings on the Kerch Highway are closed, another report says. The channel published a photo of a fire at an oil depot.
On the morning of April 8, Crimean Wind reported that two tanks were burning at an oil depot in Feodosia: one large and one smaller. The fire is visible from a distance of about 2 km.
The channel published night videos from the scene.
The Astra channel also reported about the fire in Feodosia. He analyzed eyewitness footage that appeared online and came to the conclusion that the fiery glow over the city was visible in the area where Marine Oil Terminal JSC was located.
The Russian authorities in Feodosia do not comment on the situation, and the Russian Ministry of Defense does not report the attack. The Ukrainian military has not yet confirmed the strike.
Feodosia oil terminal is the largest in Crimea. The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces previously called it “a key hub for the supply of fuel and lubricants by sea to the Crimean Peninsula and the temporarily occupied territories of southern Ukraine.”
Previously, this terminal was repeatedly attacked by the Ukrainian Defense Forces. In particular, the strikes were carried out on January 28, 2026, in October 2025 and in October 2024. During the Russian-Ukrainian war, 12 of the 34 tanks at the facility were hit.
