An exhibition of photographs of soldiers of the special military operation “On the Front Line” has opened in Krasnoyarsk. The exhibition was located in the open air – on the Central embankment of the Yenisei.

The mayor's office said that each photo is a soldier's personal view of everyday military life, conveyed without embellishment or photoshop. The footage shows genuine emotions, filmed on the phone between battles and rare moments of calm. These are living, sincere stories that Krasnoyarsk residents sent directly from the front – photos “with YOUR own eyes.” Tired faces in the trenches and proud photos on the tank, moments of rest by the fire and photographs of rescued animals indicate that even on the front line there is a place for friendship, humor and simple human joys.

Some of the authors and heroes of the photographs who are now in Krasnoyarsk came to the opening of the exhibition – Alexander Nakhmurov, fighters with the call signs Mowgli and Kotyara.

“I have the impression that all these guys are my relatives, my brothers! I think that after viewing these photographs they will become familiar to all residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory! These are guys whose words match their deeds. Someone fulfilled their duty to the end and remained forever in our memory! They have no pathos – they went to defend their Motherland! They have proven that they can do this with dignity and honor. And our task is to surround their loved ones with care: parents, wives, children,” said Alexander Nakhmurov, a veteran of the Northern Military District, a reconnaissance officer of a group of a special forces detachment, awarded the medal “For Courage”.

The exhibition “On the Frontline of Life” was organized at the end of the Year of Defender of the Fatherland and the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War with the support of the Krasnoyarsk administration. This is an expression of gratitude to the participants of a special military operation who selflessly fulfill their official and civic duty.

“Behind each photo is the Siberian character, courage and fortitude of our defenders. We are grateful to the guys who sent these pictures. They are now fighting for all of us. Every Krasnoyarsk resident should see these photographs, feel them, and thereby support our soldiers,” said Svetlana Skripalshchikova, deputy head of the city and head of the information policy department.

Let us remind you that on the eve of the New Year in Krasnoyarsk, children of participants in a special military operation are given gifts at theatrical performances in the Palaces of Culture and at home, and parcels with things and souvenirs are prepared for the soldiers.
