Ioan Andone, the former coach from Rapidprefaced the derby of Giulești with FCSB (20:00).
The coach who inflicted an incredible 5-1 on the red-blue team as coach of Rapid believes that Sunday's match, from the 21st stage of the Super League, will end in a draw. He also issued a warning for the residents of Giulești.
Ioan Andone: “I think FCSB – Rapid will be equal”
“I think the match will end in a draw. If Rapid loses, they will have problems next year. Rapid lost against Galatiul and, if FCSB beats them, they will have problems. I think it will be a draw”said Ioan Andone, according to as.ro.
Andone was also asked about the historic 2010 5-1 victory in a famous derby against FCSB.
“We also had a very good team, with Săpunaru, with Spadacio, Cesinha, we had players. Bornescu was in the goal. There is also hatred, we also took advantage of this thing, in which all the spectators and players hated each other (no – with those from FCSB). If you are a smart coach, you know how to direct this hatred positively, to be aggressive on the field, but within the limits of the regulations…
Don't stop if you've scored a goal, two, go, score more. I took advantage of that. I also knew what a Dinamo – Steaua was, as it was in the old days. When I went to Rapid it was easier for me. It wasn't like that against Dinamo, it's a championship match, it's Dinamo and that's it.
But with Steaua (no – FCSB) it was crazy. And then I managed this thing very well. Besides, we had very good players. You need players to succeed, because even Steaua (no – FCSB) had a good team then”, Ioan Andone also declared.
