In the Moscow region, more than a hundred shareholders were left without apartments, as investigators from the Ministry of Internal Affairs secured the seizure of property and accounts of the developer
The Gribovsky Les residential complex in the Odintsovo district has been under construction for 7 years. The developer Simon Jesso LLC was supposed to deliver the apartments back in 2021, but today construction readiness is about 71%. However, today construction has practically stopped.
Builders report that the stop occurred due to the fact that the Ministry of Internal Affairs initiated the seizure of the company's accounts, land and property with all infrastructure, and a ban on registration actions.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, they are investigating a case of theft of almost 2 billion rubles. At the same time, the Ministry of Internal Affairs claims that more than 200 million rubles of this money were used to finance the Gribovsky Forest project.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs claims that their decisions do not prevent the developer from completing construction and putting the property into operation.
Investors believe that the amount received from the suspected fraudster is much less. According to them, this is confirmed by numerous documents. And if so, then it was enough to seize only a few apartments.
Now residents have written an appeal to the Prosecutor General’s Office and plan to appeal to the Presidential Administration and the court.
