The inspectors found major violations of sanitary norms, including a dead mouse, cockroaches and cobwebs inside the unit, according to ANPC.
Among the irregularities identified are the lack of a compliant technological flow, the use of pans with several layers of burn and pronounced wear, as well as the use of outdated and unprofessional cooking utensils.
Also, unsanitized refrigerators were found, with accumulations of ice, in which food products were stored improperly.
The inspectors discovered meat kept next to fish, buns or vegetables, but also several packages of expired meat. At the same time, ANPC found that the restaurant's menu did not correctly and completely inform consumers and that the unit did not have a fire safety permit.
Following the findings, the authorities decided to temporarily close the restaurant until the deficiencies are remedied, to remove from consumption approximately 50 kilograms of food products, worth 1,800 lei, as well as to apply contravention sanctions totaling 22,500 lei.
