Two crew members and four passengers were seriously injured during the emergency landing of the plane in Lagos, Nigeria's largest city.
The Boeing lost pressure and dropped sharply three times. Things and hand luggage were scattered throughout the cabin, some people hit their heads on the ceiling, most managed to evacuate.
There were 245 passengers and eleven crew members on board the plane flying to Washington. 27 people received minor injuries.
