A fragment has gone viral on social networks in which Polyakova and Efrosinina laugh uncontrollably in the hall, while on stage Ukrainian artist Ivan Lyulenov performs the song “Viddayu,” dedicated to the fallen Ukrainian defenders.
The video also shows that other people in the frame are laughing along with Polyakova and Efrosinina.
“Olya and I laugh the most, and they keep us in close-up – thanks to the editors of the League of Laughter, this is a super set-up,” said Efrosinina. “But what really happened? This is the moment of the final song, when everyone was already awarded, congratulated, your humble servant won, which she was terribly surprised by. She was delighted and was already under Yura Tkach’s whiskey.”
According to Polyakova, after the show ended, the director ordered everyone to sit down again, and at that time Lyulenov began to sing.
“And here is an important point – we don’t hear what Vanya sings. All I know about Vanya and his songs is that he always sings funny songs that you constantly hum. We were not warned that he would sing the premiere song. Moreover, we were not warned that this would be a dedication to fallen heroes. We did not hear the words, and this can be seen from everyone, because if only the two of us laughed, it would mean that everyone heard. But in fact, communication continued and congratulations to each other,” said Efrosinina.
The presenter added that she was surprised why a “serious and complex song” was put on at the end of the humorous show.
“They warn about such things,” the presenter emphasized. “You can hate us, but definitely not for this.”
Polyakova called the situation “a setup that they knew nothing about.”
