Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov met with participants in the regional educational program “Siberian Character”, the main characters of which are veterans of a special military operation.
One of its participants, Alexander Lyakhov, with the mentorship of the governor, is working to develop additional support measures for SVO soldiers and their families. Another graduate, Alexander Savin, presented his initiatives to improve the efficiency of the region’s heat and power complex. He is already taking up a new position in this area and has proposed a number of measures to save resources and improve environmental performance.
“I’m glad that Northern Military District veterans, after returning from the front line, find their purpose in solving important regional problems. This is exactly the goal we set when launching Siberian Character,” noted Mikhail Kotyukov.
Let us add that for residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory who have entered into a contract, the lump sum payment has been increased to 3.1 million rubles. Taking into account federal payments, the total amount at the start of the service is 3.4 million rubles, and the total income for the first year can reach 6,020,000 rubles.
The “Siberian Character” program is aimed at integrating veterans who returned from the Northern Military District zone into the socio-political and administrative activities of the region, allowing them to use their experience for the development of the region.
