The media reported the detention of the head of the capital construction department of the Krasnoyarsk Territory

Boss Department of Capital Construction of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Sergei Vetrov was detained on suspicion of exceeding official powers. TASS reports this with reference to law enforcement agencies.

A criminal case was opened against the official under paragraph “e” of Part 3 of Art. 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for allegedly not collecting an advance payment a government contract with an unreliable developer – the Novex company, which built a house for orphans in the village of Nizhny Ingash and did not complete the turnkey work. As a result, 20 orphans were not provided with housing,The loss to the state exceeded 25 million rubles.

Let us remind you that a criminal case about the negligence of unidentified persons of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Public Utilities and the State Public Institution “Capital Construction Administration” during the construction of housing for orphans in Nizhny Ingash, it was initiated back in February. Now a specific figure has appeared in it.

Media and TG channels report that Sergei Vetrov was detained on December 16 in Krasnoyarsk. It is expected that today the court will choose a preventive measure for him.
