“Rub several needles in your palms – you should feel a characteristic pine smell. Dry, yellowed, crumbling needles and lack of aroma are signs of a tree that was cut down long ago,” noted Head of the department of information support for Rospotrebnadzor activities in the region Svetlana Lyamchenkova.
