“Paul Doyle 'lost his temper' and drove his Ford Galaxy straight into fans returning home after celebrating their Premier League title.
Dashcam footage of the vehicle, played in court, showed the shocking moments fans were thrown onto the hood or fell under the car as it sped down Water Street, which had been closed to traffic at around 6pm on May 26.
Doyle, who could be heard on the recording swearing and shouting at supporters to “move”, initially denied the 31 charges brought against him.
But last month, shortly before the start of the trial, the 54-year-old father-of-three and ex-Royal Marine changed his plea, admitting all charges,” the BBC wrote about the case.
