Who is Adrian Veștea, the new proposal of Nicușor Dan for the position of prime minister

President Nicușor Dan announced on Sunday morning that he appointed the liberal Adrian Veștea for the formation of a new Government, after the MEP Eugen Tomac submitted his mandate.
Adrian Veștea is 52 years old and is part of the leadership of the PNL, being the first vice-president of the party led by the dismissed prime minister Ilie Bolojan.
He was Minister of Development, Public Works and Administration in the Ciolacu Government.
He is currently the president of the Braşov County Council, an institution he has led in the past, now in his third term.
He was mayor of the city of Râşnov in the period 2004-2016.
He attended the courses of the “George Baritiu” University in Brașov and obtained the Accounting and Management Informatics license at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, according to his CV.
He has a master's degree in public administration management in the process of European integration obtained at Lucia Blaga University in Sibiu. He is also certified as an accountant
