In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a man drowned while swimming in an ice hole, the regional department of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
It all happened today, December 16, early in the morning on an artificial reservoir in the village of Maly Imbezh, Mansko-Uyarsky district. The press service said that the 46-year-old man decided to swim, forgetting about observing safety precautions.
“He jumped into the hole without a queue and without insurance and was unable to find his way back. Efforts are underway to search for the drowned body», — the press service said.
Representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations advise “walruses» harden gradually to prepare the heart and blood vessels for temperature changes. You can only plunge into cold water if you are completely healthy; if you have any signs of illness, it is better to abandon this idea. Also, you cannot enter the ice hole alone, without insurance.
