The Masovian Voivode, Mariusz Frankowski, announced that from December 15 to 18, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., alarm sirens will be heard in Masovia. These are tests as part of the “Syrena-25” exercise. The Government Security Center (RCB) also issued an alert on Sunday.

About the mentioned “Syrena-25” exercises using alarm sirens on December 15-18, 2025, which will take place in the province. Masovian Voivodeship, the Government Center for Security announced on Sunday at noon.

“Keep calm,” said the X RCB platform.

During the exercises, a continuous sound of alarm sirens will be emitted, lasting one minute to announce and cancel the alarm.

“The signals will be of a training nature and will only be used to check the functioning of the alarm and warning system for the population in the Masovian Voivodeship and the internal response procedures,” explained Voivode Frankowski.

He appealed to remain calm and not take any action. The signals emitted during the “Syrena-25” exercises do not indicate a real threat. (PAP)
