The complete program of stage #15 in Serie A

Before this weekend, the “Rossoneri” shared the first position of the Serie A standings with the champion Napoli, both teams having 31 points each, and Chivu's Inter completed the podium, having a deficit of only one length compared to the two rivals.

Held in check by Sassuolo, Milan can go down to 3 in Italy!

The first of the three main favorites to win the “Scudetto” that came into action in round number #15 was AC Milan, and the outcome of the game was not what Max Allegri was hoping for.

The guests were the ones who unlocked the scoreboard at San Siro, after only 13 minutes from the starting whistle of the “central” Valerio Crezzini. Ismael Kone gave Fabio Grosso's students the lead with a “ladder” that left Mike Maignan helpless.

However, Milan returned the score, both goals being scored by the “Rossoneri” prodigy, Davide Bartesaghi, who scored in Muric's goal in the 34th and 47th minutes, respectively. These two successes also recorded the young footballer's first goals for the “big team” of the Italian club.

However, the final result of the game was decided in the 77th minute when new signing Armand Lauriente beat compatriot Mike Maignan with a shot into the right corner of Milan's goal from inside the box.

Following this result, the “Rossoneri” have accumulated 32 points and remain in the first position in Italy for the moment, but if Napoli and Inter win today, the team from San Siro will go down to the last step of the podium.

On the other hand, Fabio Grosso's team reached the milestone with number 21 and occupies the 9th place in the ranking.

In the next round of Serie A, Milan will also perform at home, against Verona, while Sassuolo will receive the visit of Torino.
