According to German media, on Sunday morning the American delegation held talks in one of the Berlin hotels with representatives of Ukraine and the chancellor's foreign policy advisor, Guenter Sautter.
In addition to Wittkof, special envoy of the US President, and Kushner, son-in-law of US President Donald Trump, American General Alexus Grynkewich, the commander-in-chief of allied forces in Europe, also arrived in the German capital.

Apart from Zelensky, the Ukrainian delegation included, among others: Head of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Rustem Umerov and Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine General Andriy Hnatov.
High-level talks on ceasefire plans in Ukraine will be held in Berlin on Monday. Expected in the German capital are, among others: French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof. Statements from the Ukrainian side indicate that the talks will concern, among others, guarantees of security, reconstruction of the country and a political agreement ending the war.
