Children under 15 years old want to limit the use of social networks
In Norway. This was reported by The Guardian, citing the words of Prime Minister Jonas Gaar Stere.
The country currently has restrictions on social media for children under 13 years of age. At the same time, as The Guardian writes, the ban is not working well: more than 50% of children aged 9 to 11 use social networks.
To prevent children from circumventing the restriction, authorities also plan to change local personal data laws and introduce a mechanism for official age verification.
