Janusz Palikot was a businessman until he lost his mind. The former politician does not intend to give up and… is looking for partners for a new business. Palikot announces the transformation of the podcast and YouTube channel “JestPalikot” into online television, modeled on Kanał Zero. The profits are expected to be considerable.
Everyone probably knows Janusz Palikot – a former politician and millionaire who lost money on vodka in Poland and is suspected of fraud worth over PLN 80 million. Palikot promotes its latest media project. After leaving prison on bail of PLN 2 million, the entrepreneur decided to build an Internet television station, which is to become the foundation of his new business and a way to bounce back from the bottom.
The main element of the new venture is a YouTube channel, which was launched in March 2026. Palikot claims that the project is already attracting hundreds of thousands of viewers, and will ultimately generate revenues of up to PLN 1 million per month.
“Fakt” took a closer look at the case. In the morning of April 24, 2026, the “JestPalikot” channel gathered 2,000 followers. 640 subscribers, published 133 videos and achieved a total of just over 1.2 million views. According to SocialBlade estimates, the channel generates from 200 to 4 thousand. hole. (approx. PLN 800 to PLN 14,000) per month.
To realize the vision of transforming the channel into a full-fledged Internet television, the businessman is actively looking for investors. The offer is addressed to people with a large wallet – you can obtain the status of a partner by investing one million zlotys.

As “Fakt” found out, Palikot is offering 50 percent for PLN 1.2 million. shares in the company, although he is also considering a variant with a smaller amount – PLN 600,000. PLN for a proportionally smaller package. It values the entire project at PLN 9 million. Palikot explains the valuation methodology as follows: assumed PLN 200,000. PLN 120,000 of monthly revenues are to be generated. PLN of profit per month, i.e. PLN 1.5 million per year. He multiplies this amount by six – citing an analogy to his former companies. He writes that Ambra was valued at 8 times EBITDA, and Lublin Stock – 10 times.
According to Palikot's estimates, the project will generate PLN 140,000 in the first two months. PLN per month, after half a year – 360 thousand, and after a year – 720 thousand. For comparison, Palikot refers to the revenues of well-known Polish channels: A journalist is supposed to earn PLN 500,000. PLN per month, Szalony Reporter – PLN 300,000, and Kanal Zero – PLN 4 million per month.
He claims that after six months his project will reach “probably PLN 300,000”, and after launching live programs – even PLN 1 million per month. Monthly operating costs are estimated at a maximum of PLN 100,000. zloty.
An apartment in Warsaw and a company for my son
Palikot admitted that he lives in Warsaw, in an apartment overlooking the Palace of Culture, which also serves as a recording studio. – From the very beginning I had the idea to turn it into television, so I didn't want to make a classic podcast closed in a room where you can only see these people and their voices – he said.
As “Fakt” found out, the owner of the entire project is not Janusz Palikot himself. – My son runs the company. Formally, I am not involved in this, so there is no risk. And the rights are transferred to the son, which is understandable – said the former politician.
9 charges and millions of dollars in losses
In October 2024, the prosecutor's office in Wrocław brought eight charges against the businessman regarding fraud to the detriment of thousands of people.. Investigators found that companies from the Manufaktura Piwa Wódki i Wina group misled investors regarding their financial condition. After four months in custody, Palikot regained freedom after paying PLN 2 million bail, which – according to his statements – was financed by third parties.

Manufaktura Piwa Wódki i Wina owes creditors over PLN 224 million. Selling her assets will allow her to recover 10% of this amount. The bankruptcy trustee leaves no doubts about the valuation of the remnants of Janusz Palikot's business empire and comments on his statements from recent interviews. In March 2026, the prosecutor's office added additional charges – currently there are nine. The new charge concerns misleading 145 investors and harming them for a total amount of over PLN 13 million. The investigation has been extended until July 2026. Palikot pleads not guilty. He faces a penalty of up to 20 years in prison.
