Yuri Borisov was relieved of his post as general director of Roscosmos. This was officially announced in the Kremlin.
Instead, 39-year-old Dmitry Bakanov was appointed to the position. Who was previously the Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation. He also worked as the general director of JSC Satellite System Gonets, a single operator for communication, broadcasting and relay systems of the Roscosmos state corporation.
