FCSB managed one of the most spectacular comebacks of the European season! The champion of Romania dramatically defeated Feyenoord, 4-3, in stage #6 of the Europa League, after being led by 1-3.
The goals scored in the 87th and 90+5 minutes, in the last phase, triggered the madness at the National Arena.
Cisotti, passer for the decisive goal: “It was a crazy match!”
Juri Cisotti, the author of the assist for the 4-3 goal, in which he spectacularly dribbled past the goalkeeper, spoke at the end about the huge victory:
“I felt good, I'm happy for this result. It was very important, especially in front of our fans. It was a crazy game, but we proved that we are a team.”
The Italian midfielder also spoke about the difficult moments in the first half:
“After the first half we conceded two goals in five minutes and we were destabilized, but then we showed that we have personality and group spirit. We proved that we are a big team, with quality players, and this result was important for morale. Now we are preparing for the next match”, said the former player from Oțelul Galati.
FCSB remains in the calculations of the European spring
The dramatic victory gives the champion a big breath of oxygen in the fight for qualification in the European spring. The red-blues are back in the cards with two legs left to play in the unique group.
