According to Andarak, as a result of the hits, a fire occurred on the territory of the enterprise, which was extinguished. Two company employees were injured and received medical assistance.
“In total, about 18 hits by enemy UAVs were recorded on the territory of the enterprise. Recent history does not know of examples when the energy system of an individual state functioned in such conditions – conditions of such large-scale and targeted terror. This terror, unfortunately, is only intensifying every day. This year alone, the Russians have already fired 1.8 thousand missiles, 50 thousand UAVs into Ukraine, 4.5 thousand times they tried to destroy our energy facilities. Work to restore damaged infrastructure is ongoing around the clock,” the Deputy Minister of Energy emphasized.
Andarak noted that in some cases we are talking about restoring destroyed systems from scratch.
Context
The troops of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation have been shelling the Ukrainian energy system since 2022, which is why Ukraine lost more than 9 GW of generation last year.
In the fall of 2025, Russia intensified its attacks on Ukrainian energy system facilities. After massive attacks, blackout schedules were introduced in October.
