On December 12, the Krasnoyarsk regional branch of the Union of Mechanical Engineers of Russia sent the second batch of 100 mobile stretcher carts to the zone of a special military operation.

Devices for the rapid evacuation of wounded soldiers were manufactured by SoyuzMash enterprises in close cooperation, and their assembly was carried out at the site of the Krasnoyarsk Machine-Building Plant.

“The stretcher also comes with sapper grappling hooks and camouflage smocks: the first were made by specialists from the Welding Center, and the Krasnoyarsk Technical School of Industrial Service took part in sewing the second. I thank all the enterprises of our industry association that provided assistance, I am sure that in the future we will continue to help the defenders of the Fatherland. On behalf of the machine builders and myself personally, I congratulate the soldiers on the upcoming New Year and wish them to spend the upcoming holidays in a peaceful, calm atmosphere,” said Alexander Gavrilov, Chairman of the regional SoyuzMash, General Director of Krasmash JSC.

We would like to add that the first batch of stretchers was sent to the Northern Military District zone in February 2025.

The trolley, the design of which was modified by specialists from Krasmash JSC and was tested at the plant, is designed to evacuate and save the lives of injured soldiers. Its load capacity is up to 120 kg, and the unicycle increases the overall mobility of the device, since the wounded often have to be transported along trenches and narrow paths. With such a stretcher you can move over almost any rough terrain, and in case of unforeseen situations (enemy shelling of an evacuation group, etc.), they can be quickly folded (rolled up) using locking latches. The folded dimensions of the mechanism itself (without a stretcher) and its weight (about 8 kg) allow it to be easily carried by one person without any inconvenience.
