Simona Halep (34 years old) is trying to attract tourists to her hotel in Poiana Brașov, after several rooms remained unoccupied just three weeks before New Year's Eve.

The situation comes against the background of the high prices charged by the accommodation unit, but also of a weaker tourist season than usual in the mountain resorts in Romania.
All four room types dedicated to couples are currently available for stays from December 30, 2025 to January 3, 2026.
Initial rates are considerable:
Smart Stay Room – 2,860 euros;
Comfort Room – 3,100 euros;
Terrace Comfort Room – 3,440 euros;
Executive Relax Room – 3,680 euros;
Signature Grand Suite – 4,160 euros.
Unusual initiative aimed at attracting tourists for the new year
To encourage bookings, the hotel offered, during Thursday, a 10% discount, valid only for bookings confirmed immediately, according to prosport.ro. At the same time, the package is non-refundable, and full payment must be made within three days of confirmation, according to the rules imposed by the accommodation unit.
Simone Halep's hotel representatives warn that any cancellation attracts a 100% fee, so the decision must be made quickly for those who want to spend New Year's Eve at Simone Halep's hotel.
