The Dutch media reacted after FCSB managed to turn the score against Feyenoord, score 4-3, in the #6 round of the Europa League main stage.

The Dutch journalists criticized in harsh terms the performance of the team led by Robin van Persie, in the context in which the Rotterdam club is close to elimination from the competition.

The Dutch press reacted after FCSB – Feyenoord: “Robin van Persie's team fell completely, in an amateurish manner”

“Feyenoord collapses in the Europa League: a painful elimination looms after the failure in Romania”, captioned the journalists from sportnieuws.nl.

“Feyenoord put on a scandalous performance in the Europa League on Thursday night. Even though the Rotterdam side were leading 3-1, Romania's FCSB won 4-3. Robin van Persie's side fell flat in amateurish fashion.

It looked like the Rotterdam side were in a good position after the break. They couldn't enjoy much because three minutes after Sauer's goal, Mihai Toma reduced the difference. It was a recurring theme for Feyenoord and the team began to weaken more and more. The score was 3-3 in the 87th minute after striker Mamadou Thiam found the net.

To make matters worse, Florin Tănase scored the 4-3 goal in the last minute. With this goal, the team from Rotterdam completely abandoned the victory in an amateurish manner”, continued the journalists from sportsnieuws.nl.

Feyenoord will go into the Klassieker with a cracked team, and in 48 hours they must also overcome a mental blow.

In Bucharest, they thought they were regaining their confidence, but squandered a 3-1 lead against a less impressive FCSB side, losing 4-3. In the final minutes, the Romanians struck mercilessly after Dane Casper Tengstedt, Quinten Timber and Leo Sauer scored three excellent goals for Feyenoord.
