BNP Paribas will sell 9.2 million shares of BNP Paribas Bank Polska, constituting approx. 6.2 percent. share capital of this bank, at a price of PLN 120 per share, the PKO BP Securities Bureau announced on Friday.
In total, this amounts to approximately PLN 1.1 billion, or approximately EUR 261 million.
On Thursday, BNP Paribas announced the launch of an offer for the sale of 9.2 million shares of BNP Paribas Bank Polska through accelerated bookbuilding, addressed exclusively to institutional investors.
So far, BNP Paribas held a total of shares giving 81.23%. shares in the share capital of BNP Paribas Bank Polska. After this transaction, this share will drop to 75%.
BNP Paribas agreed to a 180-day lock-up for the remaining shares of BNP Paribas Bank Polska, subject to a waiver of this right by the joint global coordinators. Settlement of the offering is expected on or about December 16, 2025.
BNP Paribas and PKO BP Brokerage Branch act as Global Co-Coordinators and Co-Bookrunners in connection with the offering.
At the close of Thursday's session, the bank's shares cost PLN 119.5. (PAP Biznes)
