The President of Ukraine noted that has no information about possible “separate agreements” between the United States and Russia. Zelensky also referred to the future of Donbas, saying that the Americans proposed creating a special economic zone in eastern Ukraine.
In the context of American proposals regarding Donbas, Zelensky explained that the decision to create an “economic zone” in the Donetsk region should rest with Ukrainian citizens. He emphasized that regardless of whether it will be through elections or a referendum, it is necessary to determine the position of the Ukrainian people.

Key talks on the peace plan for Ukraine are scheduled to take place this weekend. German Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced that he expects a meeting with representatives of the administration of US President Donald Trump, during which European peace proposals will be discussed. Merz said that during Wednesday's telephone conversation, it was proposed that the document could be finalized with the US government over the weekend.

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte and Chancellor Merz confirmed that if the negotiation process proceeds as planned, talks with US representatives will take place in Europe in the coming days. New prospects for Ukraine
The proposals presented by the United States and the planned international talks may be of key importance for the future of Ukraine. The introduction of a special economic zone in the east of the country and a possible reconstruction program modeled on the Marshall Plan are solutions that are intended to support the stabilization and development of the country after the end of the conflict.
