Experts from China noted that the main brand that attracts their clients is the concept of “Siberia”. Among the specific requests of tourists from the Middle Kingdom were cruises along the Yenisei, hunting and the opportunity to see the northern lights.

“For most Chinese, Krasnoyarsk is an unknown location. But the Chinese know very well such a thing as Siberia. Therefore, our main goal is to make Krasnoyarsk famous for tour operators and tourists,” explained expert on aviation promotion in China Liu Ningbo.

Plans to increase air traffic were also discussed at the meeting. The head of the aviation commerce department at Krasnoyarsk airport, Maxim Golubotsky, said that China remains a priority destination. In addition to existing flights to Harbin, Manchuria, Beijing and Sanya, the opening of direct connections with Shanghai is considered promising.
