Police officers continue to work at the scene of an accident with victims in the Bogotolsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory at 592 km of the federal highway R-255 “Siberia”.
It was established that the accident was caused by a 22-year-old female driver of a Volkswagen car – she drove into the oncoming lane, where she collided with a Mercedes passenger bus driven by a 54-year-old man.
A 25-year-old passenger in the Volkswagen died on the spot from his injuries. Both drivers were hospitalized.
There were 19 passengers on the bus. It was initially reported that none of them were injured, but to date 11 people have sought medical help, 6 of them minors.

The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime provided for in paragraph “c” of Part 2 of Art. 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet the requirements for the safety of life and health of consumers, resulting in negligence in causing serious harm to health and death of a person).
