Thus, at Lyceum No. 1 of the Oktyabrsky District, young Krasnoyarsk residents learned to distinguish honest actions from dishonest ones, and talked about justice and responsibility. The children discussed how a regular gift differs from a “gift for a favor.” High school students learned what a conflict of interest is and why government officials need to be especially honest.

In gymnasium No. 10 of the Kirov district, fifth-graders studied corruption using the example of a cartoon. To consolidate knowledge and express their position, students created posters with the slogans “Honesty always wins!” and “Corruption? No, thank you! These works were placed on the walls of the educational institution.

And at school No. 1 of the Sovetsky district, a business game was organized for high school students, where they, together with the teacher, examined why corruption occurs, how it harms society and how they can resist it.

“The goal is to teach schoolchildren to analyze real situations, make honest decisions on their own and be aware of the consequences of their actions. The main thing is that children not only learn a new word today, but understand the essence of the problem. The purpose of these lessons is to instill from childhood an understanding that honesty and justice are the norm of life. Such classes contribute to the formation of a correct civic position in the younger generation,” noted Marina Aksenova, head of the city’s main education department.
