Barcelona beat Betis 5-3 in Sevilla. Lamine Yamal scored the last goal of the Catalans, from the penalty, but on Tuesday he had emotions with his father, present in the stands.

Mounir Nasraoui came out again “on stage” and clashed with the Betis fans, so the stewards at the “La Cartuja” stadium had to intervene to calm the spirits.

Lamine Yamal's father challenged Betis fans

Radio station Cadena Ser reported that Lamine Yamal's father made gestures that displeased the home fans, leading to a heated exchange in the stands.

The father of the Barcelona winger was sitting in an area surrounded by Betis fans, and the producer of the broadcast from the mentioned station explained that he was the one who had provoked the host audience, and Betis supporters promptly chastised him for his behaviour.

The tension escalated, and the security guards at “La Cartuja” had to intervene to calm down the extreme father. In October, Mounir Nasraoui was in the spotlight after it was written that he does not work and lives off the money his son sends him.

Mounir Nazraoui: “Thank you son, I will always be grateful to you, I will live on you”

He published a video on social networks in which he commented on the whole situation: “There are many who say nonsense: “Why don't you go to work? You live on your son's money”. I will tell you this much, gentlemen: “Thank you, son, I will always be grateful to you, I will live off you”.

For those who have no one, no children, no siblings, no friends, and are always living through other people's lives, find something better to do. Look at me, I'm cooking! Are you going to eat at mom's? I don't. I cook here, at home, and I do it with art. This is called art.”

Lamine Yamal's father was stabbed last year in a parking lot

Mounir Nasraoui also went through a life-threatening episode in August 2024. The Barcelona footballer's father was splashed with water from his balcony while he was walking on a street in Rocafonda, the neighborhood where he lives.

The gesture of his neighbors angered him, and the local police intervened to calm spirits. After the conflict in the neighborhood was resolved, Mounir was stabbed in a parking lot in Mataro, a city near Barcelona.

Three people attacked him, and the daily Mundo Deportivo revealed that the description of the attackers matched that of the neighbors with whom he quarreled.
