Mexican Sergio Perez, former Red Bull driver and future Cadillac driver, reacted on X (formerly Twitter) in a funny way after Lando Norris became the world champion in Formula 1.
Max Verstappen (Red Bull) started from pole and needed the win, but also for Norris not to finish on the podium to become world champion for the fifth time in a row. But the Briton from McLaren did an excellent job and finished 3rd, becoming world champion for the first time.
Sergio Perez, brilliant reaction after Abu Dhabi MP
After the race, Mexican Sergio Perez had a reaction that caused laughter. On the X platform (formerly Twitter), the future driver from Cadillac reposted a meme from the famous “Avengers” movie, in which Thanos, the villain, has a line saying: “Maybe I treated you too hard.” But the photo reposted by Perez is edited by Perez, and Thanos addresses “Checo”. And the message from the former Red Bull driver was a short “Maybe”.

What Sergio Perez is referring to
The message has a clear send, at two points. One happened in 2021, another now.
In 2021, Perez managed to make an excellent appearance in front of Hamilton in the Abu Dhabi GP and allowed Verstappen to catch him. Max later won the race and became world champion for the first time.
In this year's race, Yuki Tsunoda, in the last race for Red Bull, could not stop Norris, and the Brit easily passed him.
Well done Lando Norris and everyone at McLaren. You deserve it.
