A 20-year-old woman died on the spot, and another 21-year-old woman was injured, after the car they were in crashed into a pole in Bucharest

A female driver drove her car into a light pole on Calea Ferentari in Sector 5 of the Capital on the night of Tuesday to Wednesday. As a result of the accident, a 20-year-old woman, a passenger in a car, died, reports Bridaga Rutiera.
The accident happened around 00:45.
“According to the first information, a 21-year-old young woman drove a car on Calea Ferentari, from Calea Rahovei to Bd. Pieptănari, and when she reached the building with no. 110, in circumstances to be established following the investigations, she lost control over the direction of travel and hit a public lighting pole,” announced the Road Brigade.
At the same time, following the impact, several body elements jumped onto another car driven by a 19-year-old young man in the same direction of travel.
As a result of the traffic accident, the passenger in the first vehicle, a 20-year-old woman, lost her life. The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital for medical treatment.
“For medical reasons, only the 19-year-old was tested with the Alcooltest device, the indicated result being 0. Further, investigations are being carried out to accurately determine the causes and circumstances in which the road accident occurred”, states the Road Brigade.
During the on-site investigation, road traffic on Calea Ferentari was restricted in both directions.
