An explosion occurred in a residential building in Cherkessk, several apartments collapsed
According to preliminary data, gas exploded in an apartment on the fourth floor. Seven people were pulled out from under the rubble, two died.
About 50 people were evacuated from the house, 67 rescuers and 22 pieces of equipment are working on the spot.
UPD: The explosion could have been caused by the elderly owner of a three-room apartment in the second entrance, which did not allow gas workers in, writes Shot. Residents say that recently grandma went completely crazy and got into trouble with the neighbors.
UPD2: Two people were killed and 11 injured in a gas explosion in a five-story building in Cherkessk, the region’s Emergency Situations Ministry reported.
UPD3: The bodies of two more victims were discovered.
