Two trams collided at an intersection in Bucharest. A child arrived at the hospital

Two trams collided on Monday, December 1, in Bucharest, at the intersection between Doinea Cornea boulevard and Independence Square. Following the impact, a minor was transported to the hospital.
“Around 3:38 p.m., the Road Brigade was notified by calling 112 about the occurrence of a traffic accident that took place at the intersection between Doinea Cornea Blvd. and Splaiul Independenţei. From the investigations carried out up to this point, the driver of a tram, a 58-year-old man who was traveling on Doinea Cornea Blvd. from Iuliu Maniu Blvd. towards the highway. Orhideelor entered the collision with another tram moving in the same direction of traffic”, the Capital Road Brigade reported on Monday evening, according to News.ro.
As a result of the traffic accident, a minor was slightly injured, who was transported to the hospital for treatment.
“The tram drivers were tested with the Alcooltest device, the result indicated as 0”, the Road Brigade also transmitted.
The investigations are continued by the policemen of the Road Brigade, in order to accurately determine the causes and circumstances in which the accident occurred.
