The oldest school in Zheleznogorsk was refurbished thanks to a national project

School No. 93 in Zheleznogorsk recently celebrated its 75th anniversary. A gift for the educational institution was a major renovation, which was carried out under the national project “Youth and Children”.
The Ministry of Education of the Krasnoyarsk Territory said that before the start of the school year, the oldest school in Zheleznogorsk was completely transformed. In a three-story brick building built in 1961, engineering and electrical networks, the roof were replaced, the facade was updated, and interior decoration was completed. The furniture in the offices was completely updated, interactive whiteboards, projectors, laptops and printers were installed. We purchased laboratories for physics and chemistry classrooms to prepare for the Unified State Exam and Unified State Exam.
The assembly hall with 100 seats was equipped with modern audio equipment and an LED screen. New refrigerators, stoves and a dishwasher were installed in the catering unit. The furniture in the 180-seat dining area has been updated. Equipped hygiene rooms have been provided for children with limited mobility.
On the school grounds there is now a physical education and sports area with a large football field, an athletics area, and running tracks.
“This year, as part of the Youth and Children national project, 24 schools in the region have already been completely renovated. Next year, renovation of 16 more educational institutions will begin. In 11 of them, on behalf of the regional governor Mikhail Kotyukov, all work must be completed before August 1, 2026. The remaining five schools are being repaired under a two-year contract,” added the region’s Minister of Education Tatyana Gridasova.
Let us remind you that school No. 93 is a regional innovation platform for working with children with special educational needs, and actively interacts with the Zheleznogorsk College of Innovative Industrial Technologies and Services, JSC Information Satellite Systems named after Academician M. F. Reshetnev. More than half of the school's graduates choose engineering specialties for admission.
Over 75 years, more than five thousand students from this school received educational certificates.
