A coalition meeting will be held on Tuesday, said the Speaker of the Sejm, leader of the New Left, Włodzimierz Czarzasty. I asked for a coalition meeting now because there are several issues to discuss, he said. Czarzasty pointed out that this includes, among others: o the Constitutional Tribunal and health care.

On Tuesday, Czarzasty was asked on TVN24 about the situation in the ruling coalition. The co-chairman of the New Left assessed that after two years of government, the coalition had achieved “much better cooperation in practice than at various times.” – We just matured – he added.
– I asked for a coalition meeting right now because there are several issues to discuss. This meeting will take place today. We have a few things that make us different and this is normal and we need to come to terms with it. We have to make a decision regarding the Constitutional Tribunal, said Czarzasty.
He added that the situation in health care is also an issue to be discussed.
“The announcement of cuts in health care will not be accepted by the Left”
On Monday, correspondence from the Ministry of Health, sent to the Ministry of Finance, was revealed, which was also obtained by PAP, regarding the NFZ financial plan for 2025 and 2026, which was not approved by the Minister of Finance. In a letter to the Ministry of Health dated October 29, the Ministry of Health presented proposals to reduce the costs of the National Health Fund, which assume savings of nearly PLN 10.4 billion in 2026 and nearly PLN 213 million in 2025. In addition, system changes would bring PLN 4.5 billion in 2026.
Czarzasty said that he talked to two ministers on this matter on Monday. He added that the announcement of cuts in health care would not be accepted by the Left. “We'll just have to talk about it,” he said.
He was also asked about the issue cadastral taxLast week, information appeared in the media that the Left would submit a project on this matter in December.
– I don't know where this information came from and I deny it, that in December (…) the Left will present a draft law on this matter. He won't present it, said Czarzasty.
