The VietJet Air flight from Krasnoyarsk to Vietnam took off with a delay of almost 30 hours. The plane, which was supposed to depart for Cam Ranh on November 30 at 22:30, took off only on December 2 at 04:17.
More than 300 passengers were waiting for departure. According to them, the airline provided meals and hotel accommodation with a long delay and not to everyone. Water was distributed only after 17 hours of waiting, and transfer to the hotel was not organized.
The delay was caused by a technical malfunction of the aircraft.
The Transport Prosecutor's Office has begun an investigation. Specialists from the regional Rospotrebnadzor are preparing claims for violation of consumer rights.
