Since the beginning of 2025, 1,375 people have used the service of a sobering-up center in Krasnoyarsk

In Krasnoyarsk, over 9 months of 2025, 1,375 people used the services of a medical sobering station. Such data is provided by Krasnoyarsk City Council deputy Semyon Sendersky with reference to the Ministry of Health’s response to his request.
The institution is located on Reidovaya Street, 70, and has been operating since September 2024. The sobering-up center can accommodate 20 people at the same time. They are ready to provide assistance in safe natural sobering up and provision of primary pre-medical care around the clock.

“The main flow of people comes here with the help of police officers, but if necessary, you can apply on your own, either in person or accompanied by relatives. Over the 9 months of 2025, the department accepted 1,375 people, of which 1,290 were men and 85 were women. At the same time, over the entire period of work, which is just over a year, experts note insufficient workload: almost a third of the beds remain free,” the deputy said.
Semyon Sendersky expressed doubt that the service was not needed. Most likely, citizens are not fully informed about the work of the department.
Let us recall that the opening of sobering stations in the Krasnoyarsk Territory was sought by the former head of the regional department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Alexander Rechitsky. The first one opened in 2024 in Achinsk, followed by two more – in Krasnoyarsk and Norilsk.
