December, being the peak of the heating season, has traditionally been associated with an increase in fuel prices. This year the situation is different – prices are stable and in some cases even decreased. Experts indicate that the lower traffic in fuel depots is due to, among others, due to the fact that many customers had already stocked up for winter.
“Customers have already stocked up for the winter, so there is less traffic, and sellers are lowering prices or offering special promotions to sell goods,” says Anna Szędzielarz, co-owner of a warehouse in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, quoted by the website zonebiznesu.pl.

Coal prices, price of a ton of coal. How much does coal heating cost?
Prices in fuel depots vary depending on the region. In the Pomeranian Voivodeship, peas 10-25 mm cost approximately PLN 1,200 per tonne, and walnut – PLN 1,550. In another warehouse in the same voivodeship, eco-pea coal can be purchased for PLN 1,400 per tonne.
In the Greater Poland Voivodeship, prices have remained stable since summer. In one of the warehouses, peas cost PLN 1,220 per tonne and walnuts cost PLN 1,300.

PGG offers discounts on selected types of coal, such as Sośnica walnut coal, which now costs PLN 1,000 per tonne (previously PLN 1,150). Similar reductions apply to other types of coal, such as Jankowice walnut, Marcel or Ziemowit, as well as small coal, such as Karlik pea or Pieklorz.
At the same time, PGG is selling some types of fine coal that are being withdrawn from its offer. However, it is worth remembering that discounted products are available only from selected qualified coal suppliers (KDW) and their quantity is limited.
Południowy Koncern Węglowy also decided to reduce prices. For example, the price of Sobieski pea coal dropped from PLN 1,088 to PLN 998 per tonne, and the price of Jaret Plus coal – from PLN 1,024 to PLN 935. Promotions are valid until December 6, 2025, but product availability may be limited.
