The authorities of the Krasnoyarsk Territory have increased the size of a one-time regional payment for those who have entered into a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense. On November 10, at a meeting of the regional government, changes were made to the resolution “On additional social guarantees for certain categories of citizens.”
The mayor's office said that now all residents of the region who have signed a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense are given an additional payment of 1.4 million rubles – in addition to the payment of 1.7 million rubles established in August. In total, taking into account the funds allocated through the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the serviceman receives a one-time payment in the amount of 3.5 million rubles. And for the first year of service 6 million 20 thousand rubles.
Krasnoyarsk residents who have passed the selection process, entered into a contract with the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and departed for service from the territories of the region, including Krasnoyarsk, until December 26, 2025 have the right to an increased payment.
“Every day, from 20 to 30 Krasnoyarsk residents enter into contracts to participate in a special military operation. At the moment, the total one-time payment, taking into account funds from the regional budget and funds from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, is 3.5 million rubles. These funds are transferred to the guys after signing the contract,” said Alexey Rogozin, head of the selection point for citizens for military service under a contract in the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
Let us add that military personnel who have entered into a contract are paid a monthly allowance of at least 210 thousand rubles. They are provided with uniforms and equipment. They write off debts on loans and mortgages up to 10 million rubles.

These include various types of assistance, guarantees, benefits when paying for housing and communal services, taxes, children receiving education, medical and social services, and attending state sports and cultural events. “Krasnoyarsk is one of the few municipalities that proactively implements a whole range of social support measures for SVO participants and members of their families. Among the most popular measures are various types of one-time payments, compensation, financial assistance, as well as the provision of dairy products to children aged 8 months to 3 years. All these measures will remain in effect in 2026. For example, every year children from the families of SVO participants go on vacation and recreation to the Black Sea coast in the summer. And if 150 guys went there this year, then next year 200 people will go there. And, of course, according to tradition, all children from 0 to 18 years old and those who study in technical schools receive separate congratulations and gifts for the New Year,” said Olga Kachanova, head of the social protection department of the Krasnoyarsk administration.
