100 tons of trout worth 100 million rubles escaped from a fishery to the delight of local fishermen near Novgorod
Trout was raised in the fish farm of Lake Meglino. But a few days ago the fish cages turned out to be empty, the fish “gone away”.
News of the “escape” spread among the fishermen. Dozens of cars have accumulated around the lake. Fishermen with fishing rods and nets filled the shores.
The fisheries protection department and the Ministry of Emergency Situations have set up patrols and are monitoring order; mass arrests of poachers are underway.
