Dozens of Russians have contracted a strange virus in Turkey: those who are sick have a temperature above 39°C, peel off nails and skin on their hands and feet, and also develop purulent blisters
In recent days, several dozen children and adults from hotels on the Turkish coast have gone to a local hospital with a temperature above 39°C, a rash on the legs and arms, loss of appetite and abdominal upset. The acute phase of the disease lasts about 4–5 days, then gradually goes away; it cannot be brought down with pills.
According to different versions, the virus may be a type of covid or coxsackie. Almost everyone is diagnosed with “acute infection, unspecified.”
The incubation period can range from 4 to 14 days. After three to four days of taking antibiotics and antipyretics, as well as IVs, the disease gradually recedes.
