Transneft Western Siberia JSC (a subsidiary of Transneft PJSC) took part in the regional site of the All-Russian Career Forum “Personnel for Chemistry” on the basis of Reshetnev University in Krasnoyarsk.
The key event of the forum was the round table “Personnel needs and targeted training as a tool for creating a career reserve.” Representatives of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Oil Pipeline Department (RNU) of Transneft Western Siberia JSC and other industrial enterprises in the region, as well as the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Education, the Labor and Employment Agency and other regional departments joined the discussion.
The participants exchanged experiences, discussed the problem of labor shortages and made suggestions for improving career guidance strategies.
As part of the forum, the university’s industrial partners organized interactive platforms and master classes for schoolchildren, as well as lectures for teachers. At the end, a discussion “Chemistry of the Future” took place with the participation of young people and industry experts.
“The conversation with schoolchildren and students turned out to be lively and constructive. We talked about the future, about the necessary competencies, about starting and career prospects in the oil pipeline industry. It’s nice that the youth showed interest: the guys asked a lot of questions and shared what really bothered them. The format of the dialogue was useful both for them and for us as an employer,” noted Vladimir Sirotsky, Deputy Head of the Krasnoyarsk National University for Personnel and General Issues.
The career forum “Personnel for Chemistry” was implemented within the framework of the federal project “Advanced training and retraining of qualified personnel in the field of new materials and chemistry” of the national project “New materials and chemistry”. It was held at several regional sites, which included the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The federal project is aimed at developing human capital in the field of chemistry and new materials, improving the quality of vocational education and building human resources for the innovative development of the country's economy.
