FCSB narrowly conceded to Serbia, despite playing in numerical superiority for more than an hour. The only goal of the game was scored by Bruno Duarte, in the 50th minute.
The red-blues are like eliminated from the Europa League! After the match, Darius Olaru (27 years old), the leader of the champion, spoke about the poor performance of the team, but also about the criticism of FCSB boss Gigi Becali (67 years old).

Darius Olaru, troubled, after Red Star – FCSB 1-0: “I have no explanation”
Captain Darius Olaru was frankly and visibly affected after the failure. Also asked about Gigi Becali's criticism, the midfielder had a moment when he almost snapped:
“I don't know what happened… maybe it was better not to have that red card. I have no explanation for what happened next. I don't know if we can say we played anything tonight.”
The midfielder also scored the key moment missed by FCSB:
“If Cisotti had managed to score, it would have been different for sure. They would have opened up, but they scored first and then defended, they also took time… it's part of the game. That's how we won many matches last year in Europe.”
The captain of the red-blues, disappointed with the team's form: “We don't look good at all. I'm very disappointed”
Darius Olaru also spoke about the team's poor form and what he feels in the dressing room:
“We don't look good at all. I'm disappointed. Every game I try to give everything, regardless of the competition. We have to want more, it's Europe, the level is different. If we don't give more, we can't cope.”
FCSB fans came in large numbers to Belgrade in the rain and cold. Olaru could not hide his regret:
“Supporters are disappointed, naturally. They had an ok talk with us, nothing bad. But we are not going through a good time either. Only victory on Sunday can get us out.”
Direct reference to Becali's criticism
Asked about the boss's pressure and tirades, Olaru sent a pressed message:
“I've been here a long time and I've tried to get through a lot. But there are players who don't deserve all the criticism and maybe they don't go as easily as I do.”
