A few days after the shocking scenes offered at “Old Trafford”, when Everton's players Idrissa Gana Gueye and Michael Keane were on the verge of brawling on the pitch, the two “entered the ring”, but not to fight, but to make peace.
In the 10th minute of the away match with Manchester United, Idrissa Gueye had an altercation with his colleague, Michael Keane, who he slapped. The midfielder was immediately eliminated by the “central” Tony Harrington, but the “candies” managed to impose themselves in numerical inferiority, score 1-0, thanks to the successful goal of Dewsbury-Hall in the 29th minute.

The two Everton players have apparently moved on from their problems, appearing in a video posted on Instagram by their team-mate Thierno Barry, in which they 'dueled' in the ring.
In the video, Gueye and Keane are equipped with boxing gloves and ready to fight, as if they were in a UFC ring. Of course, the clip has a humorous tone, and at the end the two footballers hug each other in a friendly way, putting an end to the controversy generated by the elimination.
After the match, Gueye apologized via his social media profiles. Everton manager David Moyes himself tried to ease the tension, saying he “likes it when his players get on each other's nerves”.
Everton recorded their second consecutive success at “Old Trafford”, after previously winning at home against Fulham, score 2-0.
The Candies are 11th in the Premier League with 18 points, level with rivals Liverpool, who have a poorer -2 goal difference than Everton, who have scored the same number of goals as conceded, 13.
