The legendary Russian wrestler Buvaysar Saitiev died in Moscow. He was 49 years old.
Saitiev is a freestyle wrestler, three-time Olympic champion in 1996, 2004 and 2008. He is also a six-time world champion and nine-time European champion. Born in the Dagestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic. After completing his sports career, he was engaged in social and political activities.
On March 11, the ex-State Duma deputy from Dagestan would have turned 50 years old.
