The debt of the Romanian state will reach 1,130 billion lei this year, 59% of GDP, and interest expenses will exceed 3% of GDP for the first time, and in 2026, Romania will surpass even Greece in terms of the share of state interest expenses in the economy, according to Profit.ro's analysis.
