At 18:40, the Romanian players came out of the booths and started the warm-up in a hurry, to the applause of the 200 “tricolor” fans present in the Rotterdam Ahoy hall.

Romania had until 19:15 to reach the hall. Otherwise, he would have lost the match at the “green table” for not showing up.

40 minutes after GSP informed about the reason for the delegation's delay, the Romanian Handball Federation also made an official announcement regarding the delay.

The Romanian Handball Federation announces that the match between the National Team of Romania and the representative team of Croatia, scheduled for today, at 19:00, as part of the World Championship, will have a late start of approximately 10 minutes.

The reason for the delay is an unforeseen deviation from the route of the bus carrying the Romanian team to the hall, which led to the late arrival of our delegation.
